Numi makes the first book where your child is the hero — not a character named like your child, but your actual child. Their face, their name, their meaning.

We were built on a simple bet: that parents, grandparents, and gift-givers want to put the specific child they love into a real, hand-painted picture book — and that the book is so personal it becomes an heirloom, not a souvenir.

Every book uses the Lost My Name mechanic: the child wakes up to find the letters of their name have vanished, and goes on a journey to find them again. Each creature they meet returns one letter. By the last page, the name is whole — and so are they.

The illustrations are generated by AI in a single, consistent house style — modern textured gouache, warm muted palette, tender expressive faces. We pick the style; you don't have to.

The Cosmic Appendix is optional. If you give us a birth date, we add seven extra pages with the meaning of the child's name, their Life Path, Sun Sign, Chinese Zodiac, Mayan kin, Human Design, and a synthesis — an affirming reading written for a kid.

We don't train AI on uploaded photos. We don't profile children. We delete photos 30 days after the book ships. We're built to be the company you'd want making something this close to your kid.
